Ethos
We know that inclusion takes education, insight, and practice and that the best way to sustain learning is through connection. Connection allows us to build empathy which leads to deepened understanding and inclusive action.
Increasingly, people and businesses want to be inclusive of transgender individuals. However, most of us haven’t received formal education in gender diversity. Often, individuals and businesses need direction and guidance to ensure their actions align with their values.
Through experiential learning models, Rex uses their heart-centered approach to demystify gender diversity and invites individuals to take on new perspectives in learning, no matter where they’re starting from.
“When we decided to launch a gender-affirming hormone therapy program at Planned Parenthood Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley, we immediately reached out to Rex for advice and counsel. Launching TransCare services marked a significant turning point for our 85-year-old organization, and we were eager to get it right.
With Rex’s guidance and support, we launched a gender equity and inclusion training program across our entire organization. From our leadership team and board of directors to our administrative staff and our front line health care providers, everyone took part in learning about the new services we were providing.
Rex was an incredible thought partner to our senior leadership team and took the time to understand the needs of our organization. They identified ways to leverage the strength of our brand to ignite culture change within our organization. The trainings Rex delivered were thoughtful, carefully executed, and created a safe space for our team to learn and grow.
Rex’s work left a lasting impression on our organization. I am so grateful for Rex’s partnership throughout the implementation process, and I’m thrilled to share that our TransCare program is now thriving as a result of their outstanding work.”
